"Maxitech must be congratulated
on adopting a proactive approach to the WEEE directive and
in providing training and employment opportunities in this
field for unemployed people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Facilities like Maxitech will be key to fulfilling the UK’s
obligations under the WEEE directive to reuse, treat and recycle
waste electrical equipment." Margaret Beckett MP
Secretary of State for the Environment
The work undertaken
at Maxitech.biz is helping fulfill an essential need for society
today. It is no longer acceptable to dump electronic equipment
when it is replaced by newer items. A service which can take
those items and turn them into opportunities for training
of unemployed and a resource for disadvantaged people is of
great benefit. Maxitech.biz earns its success. It will be
increasingly appreciated by those it serves.
The
Rt. Hon.
The Lord Dixon-Smith Shadow Minister of Environment
"Maxitech represents a unique
opportunity within the recycling sector, providing both practical
help to businesses, and the opportunity to develop skills
